(CLOSED ENROLEMENT) Playtime Theatre - Tuesdays

(Age Range: 5-7)   Times: 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm

In-Person Class

Designed to inspire creativity and confidence in young performers, this class focuses on self-expression, focus, and basic performance skills. Classic children’s stories and sensory exercises encourage creative spontaneity and imagination. Students learn to use their voices and bodies to tell stories through dramatic play, imaginative theatre games, pantomime, puppetry, and storytelling.

Venture Into Voiceover - Tuesdays

(Age Range: 10-18)   Times: 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm

Online Class

This innovative class introduces performers to the world of voice acting through videos, script work, interactive group Zoom sessions, and individual evaluations. Learn how to act on mic for commercials, narration, readers theatre, audio books, and animation. Learn to create distinct characters and voices and add a fun, valuable new skill to your actor toolkit!

In-Person Class

This beginning- to intermediate-level class introduces and builds upon fundamental acting techniques and terminology through theatre games, sensory exercises, and script work. Students learn concentration, listening skills, communication, empathy, character development, diction, scene study, monologues, improv techniques, audition skills, and how to behave logically and naturally onstage.

Online Class

Learn about proper breath technique, pitch, rhythm, diction, and vocal health in a supportive environment with a focus on musical theatre. Take your singing abilities to the next level, for auditioning, performing, or just for fun!

Guitar - Wednesdays

Online Class

The award winning Arts & Learning Conservatory would like to welcome you to the world of Guitar. This course is designed for students with no previous guitar experience as they will receive guidance and direction in effectively playing beginning guitar.

Areas of concentration include: correct posture, note reading, rhythmic patterns, finger-picking styles, musical forms, and more.

Secrets to Great Songwriting (CLOSED)

(Age Range: 13 - 18)   Times: 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm
Session Dates: February 23, 2021 - May 25, 2021

Join award-winning songwriter Roz Esposito for songwriting shenanigans in this special
14 week workshop that fully immerses students in the songwriting process. All levels of
experience welcome – whether you’ve never written a song or already have big
songwriting dreams. Delve into the elements of songwriting like melody, lyric, and
themes, and learn how to put them all together. Explore the differences between pop
songs and musical theatre songs. Each student will have the opportunity to complete
and share an original song by the end of this course.
Roz’s songs have been featured on The Young and The Restless, the Lifetime channel,
in daytime drama and in Off-Broadway productions. Roz’s original musical, Living Over
the Rainbow, was a Semi Finalist in the 2018 Eugene O’Neill Nation Musical Theatre
Conference and is currently being produced by a two-time Tony-nominated Broadway
