Ivan Pitts

Pastor Ivan Pitts is an action-oriented, high energy, enthusiastic and socially conscious servant leader. His goal is to profoundly impact the larger community by living his life's mission to "love sincerely and to laugh intensely". He firmly believes, "to whom much is given, much is required!"

Pitts is a native of Los Angeles, California, reared in a single-family home with four siblings. He was a member of the United States Navy and received an honorable discharge.

Ivan has been serving as the Senior Pastor of the Second Baptist Church in Santa Ana, California since 2012. He has eagerly served his community since his arrival in December of 2012. Pitts also earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Science from San Diego State University, a Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from Clark Atlanta University, a Master of Arts in Religious Education in Pastoral Studies from Fordham University, and a Doctor of Ministry in Pastoral Care and Counseling from the New York Theological Seminary.
