Joy Gilmer has 25 plus years of experience in banking with a focus on treasury management. Based in Newport Beach, Joy serves as senior vice president and treasury management sales director for the Western Markets of Fifth Third Bank. She is responsible for leading the treasury management sales team, with a focus on building effective customer centric teams, setting strategic direction and leading execution.

 

Joy has driven enterprise initiatives including establishing the treasury management model in the Bank’s national and expansion markets. She is skilled in portfolio management, business relationship management, payment value streams, banking, and commercial banking.

 

When Joy first joined Fifth Third Bank in 2018, she served as Treasury Management National Sales Manager for the Cincinnati-headquartered company, overseeing treasury management national lines of business such as Commercial Real Estate, Diversified Industries, Healthcare and Technology, Media and Telecom

 

Since 2022, Joy has been dedicated to building out the treasury management sales and client care infrastructure in California and Texas, doubling the in-state treasury management professionals as the markets have grown.

 

Joy earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Redlands, California. She is a Certified Treasury Management Professional (CTP) and a member of the Association of Financial Professionals (AFP).
