Meet Our Support Staff
Cecilia Adams is likely the first person you talk to on the A&L phones and the first face you see when you enter the office. She is a recent graduate from Columbia College Chicago where she received a BA in Theatre Arts with a concentration in Directing. After directing “Faust” and an adaptation of “Phaedra” in Chicago, she moved to California where she became a member of the Arts & Learning Conservatory. She’s very honored to join the A&L team and is very excited to spread the love of theatre to her new home.
Production ManagementDiana has a diverse background in both the theater and non theater world. Both costuming and Event Management are passions for her. Her professional journey began coordinating a large children’s day which included both on-site activities and field trips. From there, her journey took her to the office world were she became an executive assistant. While there, she managed several events, both large and small each year. Her experience in costuming has been a constant, and stretches back over twenty years.
Cynthia is a native of Canada and has been involved in music since the age of six. She is an accomplished french horn player, attending the University of Western Ontario, University of Arizona and San Diego State University on scholarship. Upon graduating, she was inducted into Pi Kappa Lambda and Phi Kappa Phi honorary societies. Cynthia also attended the Pierre Monteux School (Maine), Courtenay Youth Music Center (British Columbia), and toured Europe with Canadian Youth on Tour. Cynthia has twenty years of experience in arts management, and has worked for San Diego Symphony, La Jolla Chamber Music Society, San Diego Museum of Art,Acoustiguide (NYC), and recently has been involved with the California Alliance for Arts Education and getting music back into elementary schools in Orange County CA. Business ManagerWith over 25 years of accounting and management experience from a wide range of industries Kim Sava-Capristo joins the Arts & Learning team as our new bookkeeper. For the past 10 years Kim has worked as a leader in the non-profit sector and is excited to bring her expertise to our organization. Her background also includes a Theatre degree from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, New York. Her passion for the Arts and her knowledge of accounting make her a perfect fit for our growing organization. In her spare time she writes and performs in local theatre productions. She is blessed to live in Huntington Beach with her husband and their three beautiful daughters.
