Meet Our Support Staff
Christine Hinchee is likely the first person you talk to on the A&L phones and the first face you see when you enter the office. She graduated from UC Irvine with a B.A. in Drama. With a background in dance, musical theater, and choreography, Christine has performed and created theater across Southern California. Blessed to be working in many aspects of the theater world, she is happy to be a working with the Arts and Learning Conservatory family in bringing the arts to the next generation of musicians, performers, and artists.
Cheryl comes to Arts & Learning Conservatory with over 30 years of Professional Experience in both the insurance industry and non-profit management. For the last 17 years Cheryl has worked in the non-profit sector working with multiple educational institutions from primary-elementary, secondary-high schools, and community college. She is excited to be a part of the ALC team and share her expertise in marketing, development to help increase awareness, donations and funding to enhance our programs. Cheryl is a resident of Long Beach, a mother of three daughters and a proud grandmother of two grandsons.
Cynthia is a native of Canada and has been involved in music since the age of six. She is an accomplished french horn player, attending the University of Western Ontario, University of Arizona and San Diego State University on scholarship. Upon graduating, she was inducted into Pi Kappa Lambda and Phi Kappa Phi honorary societies. Cynthia also attended the Pierre Monteux School (Maine), Courtenay Youth Music Center (British Columbia), and toured Europe with Canadian Youth on Tour. Cynthia has twenty years of experience in arts management, and has worked for San Diego Symphony, La Jolla Chamber Music Society, San Diego Museum of Art,Acoustiguide (NYC), and recently has been involved with the California Alliance for Arts Education and getting music back into elementary schools in Orange County CA. With over 25 years of accounting and management experience from a wide range of industries Kim Sava-Capristo joins the Arts & Learning team as our new bookkeeper. For the past 10 years Kim has worked as a leader in the non-profit sector and is excited to bring her expertise to our organization. Her background also includes a Theatre degree from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, New York. Her passion for the Arts and her knowledge of accounting make her a perfect fit for our growing organization. In her spare time she writes and performs in local theatre productions. She is blessed to live in Huntington Beach with her husband and their three beautiful daughters.
Meghan is thrilled to be back in Orange County after finishing her undergraduate degrees at the University of Oregon. With a BA in Theatre Arts and a BA in Arts Management, she feels that A&L is the perfect marriage of her passions for performing arts, children, and philanthropic work. Meghan has been singing since age 3, acting since age 10, and comes to A&L with a wealth of experience in non-profit management. She loves every minute of the time she spends working to help kids grow and express themselves through the performing arts.
