Tiesha Hutchins has over 25 years of experience in education both in the public and private sector. As an educator, mentor, program director, and volunteer coordinator, Tiesha has improved systems, increased productivity, and implemented new programs to increase revenue. Her passion and expertise in developing and implementing comprehensive programs for students and families that are inclusive and accessible. The programs she developed encourage empathy and teach the importance of community and volunteer work.

 

Tiesha previously led Linden Tree Learning as COO, a homeschool program for students ranging in age from kindergarten to 6th grade. Her experience includes the Director of After School Programs for Waldorf School of Orange County where she also obtained her 4-year Waldorf teaching certificate and ASES Lead Teacher for Buena Park School District. Throughout her career in education, she has been dedicated to fostering academic excellence, operational efficiency, and strategic planning within educational institutions and nonprofit organizations. Tiesha has exceptional leadership skills and an ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement policies and procedures ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, achieve organizational goals, and enhance educational outcomes.

 

Tiesha brings a wealth of expertise in areas such as curriculum development, staff management, budgeting, fundraising, and stakeholder engagement. Her enthusiasm for the arts and commitment to making a positive impact in the community is driven by her desire to provide equitable programs to students and families throughout Southern California.
